Academic English-- History Day Due Dates
Welcome to the most challenging research project in your middle school career. You will learn the research process, how to pace yourself to complete large tasks, how to create an annotated bibliography and follow MLA format, how to gather and store research on Noodle Tools, how to create an argument and support it well, but most of all how to learn about something you're fascinated about and share it with others in one of five ways: a historical paper, a documentary, an exhibit, a website, or a performance. The skills you learn preparing for History Day competition will benefit you in high school and college. If I can give you one piece of advice it would be: DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!! Keep up with the deadlines listed below.
